Line of research: Embedded and Distributed Computing Systems
Description: To develop researches to meet demands in the area of embedded systems, which obtain synergy with the challenges inherent to the area of distributed systems. The proposition is to explore aspects of scalability, performance, energetic consumption, security and pervasiveness. The expectation is to consider application scenarios which explore the use of IoT and of IIoT when meeting demands in agriculture, health, intelligent cities e industries in general.
Lines of Research: Integrated Electronic Systems
Description: To develop researches related to the implementation of digital systems with dedicated hardware structures, algorithms, modeling, experimental methods. In particular, to develop researches related to digital filters, adaptative filters, estimation theory and biomedical detection, communication systems, signals and image digital processing and design of integrated circuits.
